West coast legend Ice Cube is set to release his 10th studio album titled Everythang’s Corrupt. The hip hop vet took to Twitter this week to announce the date: “EVERYTHANGS CORRUPT street date: May 13, 2014,” tweeted Cube (@IceCube).
On Halloween, Cube dropped the song Sasquatch and released a video for the Tom Morello-assisted title track in November 2012.
“It’s not a heavily political record, but it does have statement songs and rhymes,” Cube recently told the Huffington Post. “I got a song called ‘Dominate the Weak,’ which is just showing you how a police state would look and feel. But hip-hop is in a different space right now when it comes to that. You don’t want to overdo it when it comes to the political stuff.”
Also look out for for the comedy Ride Along, hitting theaters on January 17.
