PBS’ Blank on Blank unearthed a rare interview with the late Tupac Shakur, conducted with Benjamin Svetkey of Entertainment Weekly over dinner in 1994.
The chat is depicted by animator Patrick Smith, the hip hop legend talks about his future, being treated differently by friends after becoming famous, rape allegations, being crucified by the press and politicians and if he’s a role model.
“You know I’m ready to be the bad guy. They (media) gave me that job. I’m ready to have it,” Pac declares.
