Golfing great Tiger Woods has found himself at the top of Forbes highest paid athletes of the last decade.
Over the last decade, Woods has earned an estimated $845 million, with his peak coming in 2008 with $115 million. According to Forbes, he was the first athlete to accumulate more than $1 billion in career earnings, with endorsements representing nearly 90% of his career income.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather came in at #2 on with $660 million in 10-year earnings, a big portion being from his epic tustle with Manny Pacquiao in May 2015, which earned him nearly $250 million. At #3 is Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant with $475 million, while fellow NBA superstar LeBron James is fourth with $472 million.
The only female athlete on the list is tennis star Maria Sharapova with 10-year earnings of $250 million.
