New Zealand’s Yoko-Zuna is back with a few new videos including one for their 2017 festival hit Voltron. The clip reflects the endless gusto of the group as it shows them fighting a medieval-like battle against The Red Death and arch nemesis Drakkus.
Off the back of their Big Sound performance, the four piece will visit Australia again to play two debut headline shows this March with producer Godriguez as a support. They will be found at the Howler and Oxford Art Factory showcasing their new material.
On top of this, they’ve released their latest single Day Job which featurs vocals from long-time collaborators SWIDT. The track showcases another side to the eclectic Yoko-Zuna sound while blending in their famous boundless energy.
Created by both Yoko-Zuna and SWIDT, the track features the trademark confident vocals from Spycc & INF, sitting perfectly alongside the unique instrumentation of Yoko-Zuna. While the two have performed live together for a number of years, this marks their first collaborative release.
2018 will be a huge year for the group as they release their second album. Featuring Day Job, Voltron and January Sun, the album is set to further expand on the innovative sound featured in their previous releases.
March will see Yoko-Zuna perform showcases in Sydney and Melbourne, offering a preview of the new album, and their incredible live performances.
