Kelis is back! Known for her eclectic style in the world of R&B and her successful cross into the pop scene, which isn’t a bad thing in her case, Kelis will be dropping her new album with the presumed title FOOD.
Her last album Flesh Tone in 2010, was pop and electric music based, but this time, based on her newly released track Jerk Ribs, she seems to have gotten her R&B/Soul mojo back. Announced Via Twitter last week, the star gives us further insight into the album, about creating it and a bit about its sound, stating:
“I’m really excited, my album is done. It sounds like love and summer balled up into one!…You asked when new stuff was coming, I procrastinated 🙂 but no more. It’s here now, I’m happy. You should be too, embrace it! Wepa!”
