# Video: The Weeknd – Belong To The World

He may have come out of the shadows for us to put a face to the voice, but that certainly hasn’t stopped Canadian crooner [**The Weeknd**](https://www.stasheverything.com/lifestyle/album-review-the-weeknd-trilogy/) from consistently putting out highly artistic and creative music videos to give us a testy tremblin’ in anticipation of his next album ***Kiss****Land***,due out August 27th, 2013.

And *Belong To The World* – the new single off ***Kiss******Land** –*is absolutely no exception, with some obvious Blade Runner nods and references riddling the video, and – in classic eclectic **Weeknd** fashion – a sampling of **Portishead**‘s *You Belong To The World*.
