# Video: Run The Jewels – Meowpurrdy

Run The Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike) dropped the world’s first cat-sampling remix album last year, dubbed ‘Meow The Jewels’ thanks to a $66,000 Kickstarter grant. Last week, in conjunction with Adult Swim, the duo released a trippy video by esteemed cult video artist Cyriak for the album’s lead song *Meowpurrdy*.

The clip is basically an LSD-nightmare adventure of cat paws and teeth cut up to resemble a chaotic battle between cat heaven and cat hell. El-P tweeted his feelings toward the release:

Did we make the silliest, occasionally most grating possible remix album? of course. and we did it for you, mike brown and eric garner.” Thankfully, all profits made by the album will go to charity.
