# Urthboy Hits the Road in December

 Recording artist, mogul, Melbourne native **Urthboy** aka Tim Levinson is known as both those things and more. It’s been a busy time for the omnipresent hip hop veteran as he prepares to head out for some live shows in December. He will performing three shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

Within the last week, Urth’s latest studio album *Smokey’s Haunt*debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Urban Album Chart and No. 14 on the ARIA Album Chart. Earlier this month, his record label **Elefant Traks** took home the Best Independent Label Award at the 2012 [Jagermeister Independent Music Awards](https://www.stasheverything.com/news/jagermeister-independent-music-awards-nominations-announced/) in Melbourne. His band **The Herd** also received a nomination for Best Urban Album for the 2012 [ARIA Awards](https://www.stasheverything.com/news/hilltop-hoods-and-360-atop-2012-aria-award-nominations/).

Urthboy is now moving on to his biggest challenge, staging the musical production *Dr. Seuss Meets Elefant Traks*. Taking place at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday, November 11, it will feature performances from The Herd, Hermitude, Joelstics, The Tongue, Sky’High, Jimblah and Unkle Ho.
