# Stream: ‘Django Unchained’ Soundtrack Featuring Tupac, Rick Ross and more

Like many of hip hop’s great producers, **Quentin Tarantino** has “sampled” from many classic and obscure films to concoct his own unique creations.

Being released in the US on December 25, his new slavery-centered film ***Django Unchained***, borrows from the spaghetti western and blaxploitation genres among others. The new soundtrack is no different and features tracks from both the past and present.

**Rick Ross** contributes the ominous *100 Black Coffins*, while **Anthony Hamilton** and **John Legend** both deliver stirring soulful cuts.

Also included is the beyond-the-grave collaboration *The Payback/Untouchable*, a mash-up between late greats **James Brown** and **Tupac**. As is to be expected, the soundtrack also features classic movie themes from Italian composers Ennio Morricone and Luis Bacalov.
