# Movie Review: Violent Night

Every decade has **that** Christmas movie: *Die Hard* in the ’80s, *Home Alone* in the ’90s, *Love Actually* in the ’00s. And *Violent Night*is this decade’s Christmas movie.

Santa as an action hero? You bet.

And it’s up to him to save the day when a team of mercenaries infiltrate a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage.

With witty dialogue, plenty of gore, and a few well-placed “ho ho ho’s”, this action-packed bloody movie is delightfully jolly and fun. Just don’t bring the kids. And after watching *Violent Night*, you too will believe in Santa.
