# Kelis Set To Drop New Album

**Kelis** is back! Known for her eclectic style in the world of R&B and her successful cross into the pop scene, which isn’t a bad thing in her case, Kelis will be dropping her new album with the presumed title *FOOD*.

Her last album *Flesh Tone* in 2010, was pop and electric music based, but this time, based on her newly released track *Jerk Ribs*, she seems to have gotten her R&B/Soul mojo back. Announced Via Twitter last week, the star gives us further insight into the album, about creating it and a bit about its sound, stating:

“I’m really excited, my album is done. It sounds like love and summer balled up into one!…You asked when new stuff was coming, I procrastinated 🙂 but no more. It’s here now, I’m happy. You should be too, embrace it! Wepa!”
