# Hopsin Brings ‘Funk Volume Tour’ to Australia

 Hopsin** can be described as many things; MC, producer, director, actor, editor. One thing he can’t be called is dull. One of hip hop’s fastest rising and most talked about artists he will be touching down in Australia for the Funk Volume Tour with four shows in Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria and South Australia.

The school dropout, who started his career with an $8 microphone from Wal-Mart and a copy of Fruity Loops software, managed to transform himself from a guy recording in his basement to a rap sensation.

Ruthless Records, the iconic label founded by the late Eazy-E, were paying attention and signed him in 2007. After releasing his popular debut *Gazing at the Moonlight* in 2009 he split with Ruthless and set out on his own.

Creating a massive buzz on his own he released *RAW*, and has since performed all over the world, amassed over 180,000 Facebook fans and racked up millions of YouTube views.
