# Chris Brown To Retire After Next Album?

Despite being just 24 years old and full of energy, **Chris Brown** is thinking of retirement.

The singer let loose via Twitter ([@ChrisBrown](http://twitter.com/ChrisBrown)) recently to make a shocking announcement: that’s he’s contemplating retirement after his upcoming album, *X*.

“Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!” Breezy wrote.

Chris Brown’s sixth, and possibly final, album *X* is due later this summer. It will feature appearances from Kelly Rowland, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa and Rihanna.
