# 360 and Hermitude Win at 2012 Jagermeister Independent Music Awards

 It was a [big night](https://www.stasheverything.com/news/jagermeister-independent-music-awards-nominations-announced/) for Australian music, particularly hip hop, at the 2012 Jagermeister Independent Music Awards this past Tuesday. On a typically rainy Melbourne night some of Australia’s best and brightest indie music talents came together at the Revolt Theater to celebrate and give each other a deserved pat on the back.

Big winners on the night included hip hop favourite **360**, who is contuining to have a [stellar year](https://www.stasheverything.com/news/hilltop-hoods-and-360-atop-2012-aria-award-nominations/), nabbing Best Independent Hip Hop/Urban Album for the platinum selling *Falling & Flying*.

Other winners on the night included heralded production duo Hermitude who nabbed Best Independent Dance/Electronica Album for the acclaimed *HyperParadise*. Revered hip hop imprint Elefant Traks earned the accolade of Best Independent Label, while other winners included Chet Faker, DZ Deathrays, Royal Headache and the Jezabels.
