One of the hottest names in the rap game, Mac Miller will be making his awaited live debut in Australia in 2013. Starting on February 20, Mac will be heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Real name Malcolm McCormick, the Pittsburgh, PA native debuted in 2007 and first really caught fire with his 2010 debut mixtape K.I.D.S. A rapper and multi-instrumentalist, he has been playing piano, drums, guitar, and bass since he was a child.

A child of the ’90s he is inspired by the likes of Big L, A Tribe Called Quest and Outkast, which has been displayed on anthems like Best Day Ever.

His debut LP Blue Slide Park, released in 2011, was the first independent album to go No. 1 in the US since 1995, selling nearly 150,000 copies in the first week. Fresh from releasing his jazz-inflected You EP, Mac’s new album Watching Movies With The Sound Off comes out in 2013.
