Bishop Lamont Set To Finally Drop ‘The Reformation’

It’s been six years since Bishop Lamont left Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label and caused a huge amount of hype surrounding his potential. Now finally the west coast hip hopper is gearing up for the release of his long-delayed debut, The Reformation.

The Cali rapper has launched a crowdfunding-style campaign for the release, through PledgeMusic, where it is up for presale to the public.

“I’ve been working on this masterpiece my whole life for this very moment, so I’m very proud to share a dream come true with you, PledgeMusic, and music lovers all around the world,” Bishop says. “We selected PledgeMusic to make you a part of the process, and want this album to stand out from start to finish.”

While there is very little known about The Reformation, Bishop offers up samples of a trio of songs that will appear — including Un-American featuring Ryu and Apathy, Devil In My Way and Back Up Off Me featuring Xzibit.

The album is available in several different packages and at different prices. For example, you can purchase it in digital format for $10, limited edition autographed vinyl for $50, or with a variety of Bishop Lamont-branded gear, from hoodies to bandanas.
