John Wall, Fuzzy Director was keen to share his happiness with the return of the event.
“We were very happy with Listen Out’s first edition last year. We got great crowds and everyone knew exactly why they were there. It looked, sounded and felt like the alternative to complicated festivals it was intended to be: Instead of trying to please everyone a little bit, pleasing a smaller bunch of people the whole time.
The second year is here. And now we want to hold on to what was good about last year, and make it better. So we’ve tweaked the venues to try to make more space where it’s needed, easier bar access where that’s needed, quicker entry where it’s needed and louder sound wherever possible.
And we’ve carefully hand-picked a line-up that we think is even more solid and representative of quality good-time dance music than last year. We humbly predict that it will be pretty much impossible not to DANCE your feet right off at Listen Out 2014. I hope we’ll see you there!” – John Wall
