Haberstashery: First Impressions

Haberstashery is here once again with the aim to please your retinas with well dressed humans from Sydney’s streets.

This week we came across two individuals who have a sense of style that perfectly represents their personality. But hey, isn’t that what fashion is all about? conveying or reinforcing the main idea of how you want to be percieved or portrayed as, because first impressions do count.

The lad (pictured above) was dressed clean-cut with a wool knit sweater, worn-out leather chukkas, Above the Clouds cap and a crisp pair of chino’s. The lady, meanwhile, donned bright colours, a unique styled head piece and various accessories. They say don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but upon approaching these two stylish individuals it became apparent that what they were wearing is an insight into who they are.

The dude, named Jackson, was self aware, laid back. Where as the lady, Crystal, was outgoing, raw and seemed like a overall fun person. Their clothing reflect what their personalities are like. See now I’m starting to sound like a horoscope. But take this as food for thought, the next time you approach someone for the first time. See what they are wearing and monitor their actions. Each of these are clear indicators of what people are really like. But as shallow and narrow minded as that may seem, it would be best applied when finding positive traits of someone (i.e. band shirts would indicate what band they like, durr… etc)

Catch up with last week’s Haberstashery here.

Peace,

Stash Team
