Aus Tour 2013

Obie Trice REAL NAME, NO GIMMICKS!

Straight from Detroit to Australia join us as the original Shady Records artist and protégé of Eminem, Obie Trice embarks on his debut headline nationwide Australian tour June 2013.

Obie Trice began collaborating with Eminem on his albums: “Devil’s Night,” “The Eminem Show,” and the “8 Mile” soundtrack, which gave him exposure to Eminem’s audience. Trice’s debut album, “Cheers,” appeared in 2003 and was well received. The album produced a number of singles and featured production work by Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Timbaland, in addition to vocals from Busta Rhymes, Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, D12, Tony Yayo, and Timbaland. The album eventually earned gold status and welcomed Trice into the rap community. His second offering, “Second Round’s on Me,” followed in 2006. 2008 marked Trice’s departure from Shady Records due to a misunderstanding; he went on to release a compilation album, “Special Reserves” in 2009 with MoSS.

In 2010 Trice launched his own record label, Black Market Entertainment, under the Universal Records umbrella. Later that same year, Trice released his first single, “My Time 2011,” from his forth coming album, “Bottoms Up.” 2011 saw another single emerge, “Learn to Love,” both singles were successful. “Bottoms Up” was released in 2012 and scored a prestigious ‘XL’ in XXL Magazine. Obie Trice releases his fourth studio album “The Hangover” in June and Australian fans will be the first in the world to see this live as his record release party turns into an Australian wide tour.

Joining Obie Trice as the national supporting act is Nova 919’s IAMWITHTHEBAND public vote winner “Mastacraft”. Crafty, an Irish rapper living in Adelaide co-signed by Tech N9ne housed the viral and then banned youtube hit “I Love Porno” which features cult star Ron Jeremy in the video and has recently released the song “Baby I’m Gone” with Bizarre of D12.
